Hey, did you hear the news? Broga Hill was on fire last night! Can you believe it? It must have been a scary sight for folks living in Semenyih.

But hey, let’s not panic just yet because our trusty Bomba heroes swooped in to save the day! Yep, you heard that right. Those firefighters from Semenyih, Bangi, Ampang, and Serdang stations all came together like Avengers to battle the blazing flames.

So, here’s the scoop: According to the Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Semenyih Facebook page, the fire broke out around 7:39 pm at the top of Broga Hill. They estimated that about 5 acres of land were engulfed in flames. Yikes!

But our Bomba squad wasn’t about to let that fire run wild. Nope, they sprang into action faster than you can say “firefighter”! With their trusty fire extinguishers and some strategic firebreak maneuvers, they managed to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.

And get this, they even had backup from the Royal Malaysia Police, Task Emergency Medical Services, and the Malaysia Civil Defence Force. Talk about teamwork!

After hours of battling the inferno, our brave firefighters finally emerged victorious. They made sure to double-check the area to make sure no sparks were left smoldering.

Once they were certain that the fire was completely out, they packed up their gear and called it a day. Phew, talk about a job well done!

So, hats off to our Bomba heroes for their quick response and tireless efforts in keeping our community safe. We owe them a big thank you for their bravery and dedication!
