“I’ll Come Back When I’m Successful” – Taiping Teen Missing After Leaving Emotional Note
Teen Girl Missing After Leaving Emotional Goodbye Note
A 16-year-old girl from Taiping, Perak, has been reported missing for more than two weeks after leaving a heartfelt note for her family expressing her intention to leave and find her own way in life.
Left Home Quietly on May 26
The teenager, identified as Wu Peishan (transliteration), quietly left her home on the morning of Monday, May 26. Her family last saw her in good spirits the night before, and her sudden disappearance has left them shocked and deeply concerned.
According to her father, she left behind a note that read, “To my family, please forgive me, I can’t stay at home anymore. I feel stressed. What I did was wrong, please don’t worry about me, I want to calm down. I know how to take care of myself. I can’t stand staying at home anymore. I hope everyone takes care of their health. One day, when I succeed, I will come back.”

Quiet Personality, Limited Friends
Peishan, the youngest of four siblings, had dropped out of school and had quit her job not long before the incident. Her father described her as an introvert who rarely socialised and spent most of her time with family. While she had no apparent issues at home, she had reportedly befriended a young man while working at a clothing store, who was often seen picking her up from work.
Father’s Appeal to the Public
The teen’s father, who was away in Kuala Lumpur for work at the time, was informed of her disappearance by her older sister. Since then, he has contacted the police and held a press conference to plead for public assistance.
He shared his concern and urged the public, “I’m not against my daughter having friends, but I just want her to be cautious about who she trusts.”
More Than Two Weeks With No Contact
Peishan has been unreachable since her disappearance. Her phone has been turned off, and all efforts to locate her have so far been unsuccessful.
Anyone who sees or hears from her is urged to contact her father immediately at 014-9145083.
