“Stupid Losers” – M’sian Influencer Says Men Who Do House Chores are ‘Gay’ & Disrespected by Their Wives

Malaysian influencer and TikTok personality DMA Islam has once again found himself at the centre of controversy — this time for making derogatory remarks about men who take part in house chores.

In a viral video and series of posts, DMA claimed that men who do house chores are “gay”, calling them lazy and weak. He asserted that a man’s true role is to “conquer the world” and provide for the family — not to wash dishes, sweep rubbish, or change diapers.

“Have You Ever Seen a King Sweeping the Castle?”

DMA’s comments quickly caught fire on social media, with users shocked by his take on masculinity and domestic responsibilities.

“If you’re at home doing chores, it means you’re too lazy to be out there conquering the world,” he said.

He went on to say that a man who does household work is likely being controlled or disrespected by his wife, claiming that women only assign chores to men they don’t admire.

“Your wife doesn’t respect you, of course she’ll tell you to do the house chores,” he added.

Men Who Do Housework Are “Losers”, Says DMA

In another bold statement, DMA labelled such men as “stupid” and “losers,” stating that a husband should always be the strongest, most respected figure in the household.

His posts have since drawn criticism for promoting toxic masculinity, misogyny, and outdated gender roles.

Not His First Controversy

This isn’t the first time DMA has sparked public outrage. In a separate post, he once claimed that Mass Communication courses at universities are pointless, and that students in the field are simply “having fun.”

He also previously expressed his displeasure with Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh, after his boxing event was cancelled, stating he hoped she would be transferred to a logistics department.

Public Reaction: Outrage, Disbelief, and Sarcasm

DMA’s statements have triggered backlash across TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), with many calling him out for promoting a narrow and regressive view of masculinity.

Others sarcastically asked if cooking a meal for your family or cleaning your own home makes you less of a man — with some even dubbing him the “King of Delusion.”
