Malaysians have been raising concerns after discovering a suspicious TikTok account allegedly selling lollipops from Thailand, known as Candy Fun, which many suspect could be laced with drugs.
At first glance, the account may seem harmless, but netizens are worried the “candy” may actually be a front for distributing illicit substances. This suspicion comes after warnings from Thailand’s Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) about drug-laced lollipops dubbed “party lollipops” or “drunk lollipops,” which are gaining popularity among youths and partygoers.
Tests by the ONCB revealed that some of these lollipops contain dangerous substances, including nimetazepam, tramadol, and ketamine, sparking fears about their circulation on social media following drug crackdowns.
Screenshots of the TikTok account were shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), showing concerning discussions in the comments where customers were openly asking about the “candy.” One comment even stated that 10 pieces cost RM200, raising further alarms about the potential risks.
Netizens have been vocal, questioning TikTok Malaysia’s moderation practices and urging authorities to take action to prevent these dangerous products from spreading.
