Speculations began when a photo surfaced online, showing the 2PM member appearing to propose in the romantic city of Paris. Rumors quickly spread, with some claiming the couple was already engaged and planning a wedding. However, Taecyeon’s agency, 51K, has shut down these rumors.
“The picture was simply taken to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday. We are also surprised and regret that the image was leaked, considering she is not a public figure,” the agency clarified. They further confirmed that Taecyeon has no immediate wedding plans. “They are dating as usual, and while marriage may be considered in the future, there are no immediate plans for it,” they stated. For the record, Taecyeon publicly confirmed his relationship with his girlfriend in 2020.
