Local media reported heavy traffic congestion around the Bukit Jalil area from Saturday afternoon as fans began arriving hours earlier to secure entry.

Vijay, also known by his honorific title Thalapathy, remains one of the most influential figures in Tamil cinema.

Jana Nayagan is believed to be his final film project before transitioning fully into politics, making the Bukit Jalil appearance especially meaningful to fans.

Directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, the film stars Vijay alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain and Priyamani.
