In a video uploaded to TikTok, the tourist voiced his displeasure after discovering that ticket counters and machines at the station only accepted card, e-wallet, or online payments.
“This is my first negative review — there’s no cash accepted here,” he said, pointing to the cashless payment terminals around him.

He confirmed the situation with a staff member, who told him that tickets could only be bought using cashless methods.
Even though he had a bank card, he appeared reluctant to use it. Eventually, he proceeded with the card payment for the RM55 train ticket to KL Sentral.
Although he admitted the transaction was fast and smooth, he remained frustrated and questioned, “What kind of train station doesn’t accept cash?”
