His behaviour made the mother lose her temper, leading to her grabbing a hammer and smashing the console while shouting, “No more after this.”

The video was recorded by the child’s older brother, influencer Dani Kneip. He explained that his younger sibling had long struggled with severe gaming addiction, obsessing over Robux and skins, often spending impulsively without understanding consequences.

A History of Addiction and Repeated Credit Card Misuse

According to Dani, this wasn’t the first incident. Throughout the year, the boy had repeatedly used their mother’s card for Roblox purchases. This latest RM9,100 charge was the breaking point. The family claimed the boy has high-level ADHD, making him impulsive, easily triggered, and quick to lash out at his mother verbally.

Netizens Debate Whether the Mother Was Wrong

After the video surfaced online, many netizens criticised the mother, accusing her of setting a bad example by destroying her child’s belongings in anger. Some argued that the PS5 was technically the boy’s personal property and that she had no right to destroy it. One user even commented:
