A woman’s water can break before or during childbirth. While many think it’s a sudden gush, it’s not always like that for everyone.
In a recent viral video online, @yuzashila shares a Raya incident at her Johor home during an open house.
“Her water broke on my new sofa.”
It’s an unexpected twist for a Raya gathering. In the video, a pregnant lady is surprised to realize her water broke.
Shila, the host, explained how it happened during their open house for close relatives.
“After eating, we were chilling, waiting for more relatives. Suddenly, she shouted about her water breaking.”
The funny part? The houseowner yelled “my new sofa” in disbelief, jokingly upset about her new sofa.
Shila said when it happened, everyone panicked, moving cars to let the pregnant lady go to the hospital.
“Our aunties scrambled for cloths. She went to the hospital, only 4 cm dilated. She felt no pain until Sunday morning when the baby came.”
