Man Caught Red-Handed Filming Upskirt Videos in Bukit Bintang

A shocking incident in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, has gone viral after a man was allegedly caught filming upskirt videos of unsuspecting women using a hidden camera setup.

The man placed his smartphone upside down inside a paper bag, positioning it under the skirt of a woman in a public area. This covert act was noticed by bystanders, who promptly confronted him.

Confronted by the Public and Attempted Escape Foiled

A video circulating on social media shows a group of men stopping the suspect and asking, “Bro, what are you recording?” The man, wearing a face mask, attempted to flee the scene but was subdued by two men.

Meanwhile, a woman at the scene informed the victim about what had occurred, and the suspect was immediately handed over to police.

500GB of Upskirt Footage Found on Smartphone

A Malaysian woman who witnessed the incident posted on Facebook, revealing that the suspect’s phone contained a shocking 500GB of upskirt photos and videos. The man is believed to be a student based in Cyberjaya.

The same woman stressed that the footage clearly showed multiple victims and raised the concern that the man may not have been acting alone.

Warning Issued to Women Following Disturbing Discovery

The post also carried a warning for women who wear skirts, encouraging them to wear safety pants to prevent such violations. She noted that many of the victims in the man’s photo gallery did not appear to be wearing protective innerwear.

The woman emphasised that the video taken during the confrontation is intended as evidence to confirm the man’s actions.

Police Yet to Release Official Statement

As of now, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has not released an official statement regarding the incident. The public, however, is calling for swift action and justice.
