Facing severe criticism after posting a clip of his latest Raya song titled ‘Love Raya’, Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri appeared to offer an apology on Monday.

Simultaneously, the controversial entrepreneur also took action by deleting the video and stated that the apology was made out of respect for his mother’s wishes.

“To my mother and everyone who watched my video, I apologize sincerely. I regret the disappointment. I put a lot of effort into this. I’ve paid tens of thousands to everyone, but instead of watching the video, you all criticized it harshly, which has really affected me,” he expressed, acknowledging the impact of negative comments from netizens.

At the same time, Aliff Syukri also acknowledged his mistake and didn’t point fingers at anyone.

“I don’t want to feel upset or direct anger towards anyone. I take responsibility for my actions.

“I’ve already removed the video, even though many others create unconventional content without facing any issues,” he stated.

Previously, Netizen reported that the online community urged the Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil, to take decisive action in blocking Aliff Syukri’s ‘Love Raya’ video, as it was deemed disrespectful towards Malays and the Islamic religion. — Netizen
