A video making rounds on social media has unveiled a shocking incident where a passenger of a Singapore-registered car shamelessly reserved a parking spot at a shopping mall in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
To make matters worse, not only did the man use his body to save the parking space for the red Toyota Prius, but he also obstructed and argued with the patiently waiting driver of another vehicle.
The incident occurred at Bukit Indah Aeon Mall on February 12th, as captured by the dashcam of the vehicle that was waiting for a white Toyota Alphard to vacate a parking spot. Shared by the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, the incident took place around 1 pm.
While the dashcam owner was patiently waiting, a red Toyota Prius drove past the departing Toyota Alphard and abruptly stopped in the parking row upon noticing the available spot. Subsequently, a man exited from the passenger side of the Toyota Prius and stood in the parking spot just as the Toyota Alphard left.
He not only occupied the spot but also prevented the waiting vehicle from entering the parking space. The man then engaged in an argument with the driver, making gestures as the Toyota Prius reversed and occupied the spot. The incident highlights the audacity of some individuals when it comes to parking etiquette.
