A Brazilian woman got caught by the police when she brought her uncle, who was dead, to the bank to apply for a loan. Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes was seen on camera in Rio de Janeiro, pushing her uncle’s body into the bank while attempting to get a loan of about $3,400. The video was eerie as she tried to make him sign documents with his lifeless hand.

In the video, she spoke to her deceased uncle, asking if he could hear her and if he was paying attention, even though he obviously couldn’t respond. She even tried to keep his head straight as it kept drooping.

The bank staff became suspicious and called the police, who arrested Erika. They identified the deceased man as Paulo Roberto Braga, who had been dead for several hours before being taken to the bank.

Erika might face charges for stealing by deceit, misusing funds, and disrespecting the deceased. The police are investigating the cause of the man’s death and if others in the family were involved.
