Fazura & Brother Appoint Lawyer, RM4.65 Million Debt Case Heads to Court

Celebrity and entrepreneur Nur Fazura has now taken formal legal steps by appointing the law firm Low and Partners, alongside her brother Ahmad Faiz, to represent them in a RM4.65 million debt claim.
Previously, Fazura made headlines when headscarf supplier Obor Holding Sdn Bhd alleged that Pink Fate Sdn Bhd — a company linked to her — failed to make full payment for headscarf supplies since mid-2022.
Although the issue has gone viral since earlier this month, Fazura chose not to issue any public statements. She appeared composed, continuing with her life and staying active on social media, seemingly avoiding the controversy publicly.
Most recently, the lawyer representing them confirmed that a Memorandum of Appearance was filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on behalf of both defendants, indicating that the case will now officially proceed to trial. However, no court date has been set as of yet.
According to the lawsuit documents, Obor Holding claims it supplied RM7.33 million worth of headscarves to Pink Fate since June 2022. However, only RM2.68 million was paid, leaving an outstanding debt of RM4.65 million.
More shockingly, Obor Holding also alleged that they received a bounced cheque worth RM1 million on 3 September 2024, co-signed by Fazura and Ahmad Faiz. The cheque could not be cleared and was returned by the bank with a “Return Cheque Advice” notice.
Reportedly, all transactions took place while Fazura was still serving as a director of Pink Fate, before stepping down from the role in January 2025. Ahmad Faiz, however, remains as director to this day.
