From Auntie Anne’s to Nando’s: Alice Chang’s Controversial Journey Through Klang Valley

Source: SAYS
Alice Chang, a name that’s quickly becoming infamous in Malaysia, has made headlines again. Malaysians first took notice of Alice when she went viral for her antics at an Auntie Anne’s outlet in Mid Valley Megamall. In a series of bizarre videos, Alice was seen playing with and kissing a piece of raw dough. The public backlash was swift, and Auntie Anne’s terminated her employment, citing concerns over hygiene and safety standards.
But Alice didn’t stop there. She continued her controversial journey through various food and beverage (F&B) outlets across the Klang Valley, seemingly undeterred by the attention.
Following in Her Sister’s Footsteps
Alice is no stranger to the public eye—her older sister, Adeline Chang, also gained notoriety for allegedly scamming Grab drivers and strangers. Adeline’s exploits included ordering Grab rides without paying the fare and manipulating people into booking rides for her, eventually leading to her being blacklisted by Grab. While Adeline has since laid low, Alice has kept the family name alive with her own brand of controversy.
The two sisters, capitalizing on their viral fame, have appeared on various TikTok livestreams and social media platforms, collaborating with influencers and even modeling wedding gowns. However, Alice’s antics have attracted much more negative attention.
Alice’s F&B Escapades
After her termination from Auntie Anne’s, Alice sought jobs at other F&B outlets, often hiding her identity to secure employment. Her next target was Cold Stone Creamery Malaysia, where she applied for a job but was quickly dismissed before she could access any food. Despite this, Alice posted pictures from Cold Stone’s Pavilion KL outlet, further stoking the public’s interest.
Her short-lived stint at McDonald’s followed. Alice posted about her time working at their SS2 outlet in Petaling Jaya, but things took a controversial turn when she accused the branch manager of sexual harassment. The manager quickly filed a police report to deny the allegations, and Alice later retracted her claims.
Nando’s Is the Latest Victim
Most recently, Nando’s found itself caught up in Alice’s controversial activities. The restaurant issued a statement confirming that Alice had secured a part-time position but was terminated on the same day after management became aware of her previous behavior. Alice, undeterred, posted images of herself in the Nando’s kitchen, posing with chickens being prepared for cooking.
As Alice continues to jump from one job to another, her growing list of antics has sparked widespread criticism and concern about how far she will go for attention.
What’s Next for Alice Chang?
With each new job, Alice finds herself back in the public eye, raising questions about her motivations and whether she’s driven by fame or a more calculated plan. While many Malaysians are outraged, others are simply waiting to see what Alice will do next. Regardless of her intentions, Alice’s actions have shone a spotlight on the power of social media fame—and the lengths some will go to stay in the limelight.
