His heartbreaking story was shared in a viral TikTok video by a food vendor known as Ezzu Chang.
Tricked with a Job Offer, Then Attacked
According to Ezzu, the Indian teenage boy said he was approached by a man who offered him a job. Trusting the offer, he followed the man into a back alley.
“I just arrived at TBS. A man said he could give me a job. I followed him into a lane, and he hit me on the head. My bag and wallet were taken,” the teen explained.
Vendor Steps In to Help
Feeling sympathy for the distressed teen, Ezzu acted quickly. He offered him a pair of slippers, a meal, and drinks to comfort him.
Later, Ezzu arranged a taxi to send the boy back to TBS and helped cover the fare. He also gave the boy extra money so he could buy a bus ticket home.
A Tearful Gesture of Gratitude
Clearly overwhelmed by the kindness shown, the boy bowed and knelt at Ezzu’s feet in an emotional moment captured in the video.
Many viewers were touched by the sincere gesture, describing it as a raw and heartfelt expression of gratitude.
Netizens Praise Vendor’s Kindness
In the comments section, netizens praised Ezzu for helping the teen regardless of race or background. Others also admired the teen’s manners and humility, noting that he showed a rare level of respect.
The story serves as a reminder that acts of kindness can still shine in the darkest of moments — and that compassion knows no boundaries.
