The Johor Causeway is always busy with vehicles crossing between Singapore and Johor Bahru, making it a key route for travel. However, a recent viral video on social media has shed light on a sneaky scam operation by some Malaysian motorcyclists.

In the video, a rider from Singapore was crossing the Johor Causeway, a major road link between Singapore and Johor Bahru. As soon as he crossed the border, he noticed a group of bikers from Malaysia eyeing him suspiciously.

While riding along the causeway, one of the motorcyclists suddenly sped up and hit the side mirror of the Singaporean rider’s bike with his top box. The culprit then caused a commotion, with his friends quickly surrounding the rider. They all teamed up to demand compensation for the so-called damages.

Luckily, the Singapore rider had a 360 camera mounted on his bike, capturing the entire incident. When he revealed that he had recorded everything, the scammers quickly backed off and left, realizing their scam had been caught on camera.

The video quickly gained traction online, with many netizens condemning the Malaysian bikers for their dirty tactics. Comments flooded in, with one person saying, “Report to the police… the camera has the proof.” Another added, “They were waiting for it… look at those three bikes; the middle one pointed at the target. They had him in their sights.”

“It’s embarrassing for Malaysia,” one netizen expressed, clearly disappointed. Many urged the rider to report the incident to the authorities, calling for stricter enforcement to prevent such scams from happening again.
