Siti Saleha Wins ‘Outstanding Asian Star’ At 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards

Malaysian actress Siti Saleha has been named one of seven winners of the prestigious Outstanding Asian Star award at the 2024 Seoul International Drama Awards. This recognition was based on global fan votes, celebrating her impressive role in the Tonton Original Series, SeOfis, which premiered earlier this year.
“I’m truly honoured to be nominated and recognised on an international stage,” Siti expressed during a virtual media session on 23 September.
In SeOfis, Siti stars as Sam, alongside Nadiya Nisaa and Nadia Aqilah, portraying three entrepreneurial women navigating both personal and professional challenges in a shared workspace.
The Seoul International Drama Awards is an annual event that honours global excellence in television dramas. Established in 2006, it has become a highly respected platform, with submissions from across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Categories range from Best Drama to fan-voted awards like Outstanding Asian Star.
Siti credited her fans for their unwavering support and expressed her hope that this recognition would inspire more Malaysian actors to dream big and achieve international success.
Other winners of the Outstanding Asian Star award this year included South Korean actors Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, Singapore’s Desmond Tan, Thailand’s Win Metawin, Filipino actress Kim Chiu, and Indonesia’s Ochi Rosdiana.
