Thai Beauty Queen Loses Title After Viral Explicit Footage Emerges

Stripped of Crown One Day After Winning

A shocking turn of events has gripped Thailand’s beauty pageant community as Suphannee “Baby” Noinonthong, the 27-year-old winner of Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026, was stripped of her title just one day after being crowned.

Baby had been officially crowned on September 20, granting her the honour of representing her province in the upcoming Miss Grand Thailand 2026 competition. However, her reign was cut short on September 21 after explicit videos of her circulated widely online.

Organiser Cites Violation of Pageant Principles

In an official statement, the pageant’s committee stated:

“The incumbent Miss Grand Prachuap Khiri Khan 2026 was found to have engaged in certain activities that do not align with the spirit and principles contestants are required to uphold. Therefore, it is necessary to terminate her position.”

The explicit footage reportedly showed Baby wearing pink see-through clothing, dancing suggestively in front of a camera. She was also seen using a sex toy, smoking an e-cigarette, and applying lipstick to parts of her body not typically associated with makeup.

Her Past Revealed, But So Was Her Pain

In response to the viral scandal, Baby posted a heartfelt apology video on Facebook, addressing both the Miss Grand organisation and the public.

She confirmed that the footage was indeed of her and was taken during a financially desperate period of her life. Baby explained that she had participated in nude photoshoots and videos to cover the medical expenses of her bedridden mother, who has since passed away.

“My financial hardship in the past had driven me to participate in nude photoshoots and videoshoots to care for my mother,” she said.

Baby also expressed her regret over her actions and pleaded for a second chance, saying she has worked hard to turn her life around and hopes for opportunities in the entertainment industry despite her past.

Public Opinion Divided: Dignity vs. Forgiveness

Her story has sparked mixed reactions online. While some condemned her past and supported the pageant’s decision, others sympathised with her struggles and called for a more compassionate understanding of her circumstances.

In her video, Baby vowed to report the illegal gambling websites that had misused her images without consent.

“Please give me a chance to start a new life,” she pleaded.

Whether she finds redemption or remains haunted by her past, Baby’s case opens up broader discussions on the pressures faced by women, societal judgment, and what it means to truly move on from one’s mistakes.
