“Dad, Do You Really Want Me to Die?” Tragic Will Letter Shocks the Internet

A Will Letter That Left Many In Tears

A deeply emotional will letter allegedly written by a young girl in Sibu has gone viral on social media, leaving many heartbroken and angry. The letter, said to be written shortly before her death, details years of physical abuse, emotional neglect, and suffering endured while she was battling bone cancer.

The tragedy came to light after the girl’s younger sister reportedly opened and shared the will letter, revealing what the victim described as a lifetime of pain within her own family.

Cancer Treatment Followed By Alleged Abuse

According to the contents of the letter, the girl, identified as Wang Qiuyue, had returned to Sibu after undergoing bone cancer treatment in Kuala Lumpur. Instead of finding care and recovery at home, she claimed she was subjected to continuous abuse by her stepmother.

The letter alleged that both she and her younger sibling were beaten, verbally abused, denied food, and forced to endure inhumane treatment at home. She wrote that despite her weakened physical condition, she was made to walk home from school because she was no longer picked up, even though her leg had not fully healed.

She also described being forbidden from using basic household facilities, including the toilet at night, the kitchen, and even drying racks, forcing the siblings to live in fear and humiliation.

A Father Who Chose Silence

One of the most painful elements of the letter was the repeated accusation that her father witnessed everything but chose to remain silent. She wrote that he watched as food was withheld, as her sibling was assaulted, and as their belongings were destroyed, yet never intervened.

In one particularly disturbing account, she claimed her sibling was physically injured with scissors while trying to protect a phone cable, and her father only spoke after the act was done.

Throughout the letter, she repeatedly questioned whether her father still loved her, asking why he allowed such cruelty to continue after remarrying.

Asked About Funeral Arrangements While Still Alive

The letter also revealed that after her cancer reportedly relapsed and spread, her father allegedly visited her in the hospital not to comfort her, but to repeatedly ask for her identity card so funeral arrangements could be prepared.

She questioned whether her father had already accepted, or even wished for, her death, writing that doctors were still trying to save her while her own family seemed to have given up on her.

Despite everything, she wrote that she still loved her father deeply, making the letter even more heartbreaking.

Public Reaction Filled With Grief And Anger

After the letter surfaced online, netizens were overwhelmed with grief, disbelief, and anger. Many expressed sympathy for the young girl, while others demanded justice and called for authorities to investigate the alleged abuse.

The case has sparked renewed discussions about child protection, domestic abuse, and the responsibility of guardians to protect vulnerable children, especially those suffering from serious illnesses.
