A charming two-year-old from Penang is winning the affection of social media users for his talent in recognizing various car models.

In a video posted on Instagram, the little boy named Hans toddles after his mum, Sandra, in a parking lot as she quizzes him about the brand of each car they encounter.

“What car is this?” inquires his mum.

“Audi,” he responds joyfully, gripping a red toy car in his hand.

He proceeds to accurately identify eight other car brands, and when corrected for one mistake by his mum, he repeats it as if committing it to memory.

Sandra mentioned that Hans has always been enamored with cars.

“He loves it, no matter what kind of car it is. But it’s even better if it is a famous car; he will love that even more,” she said.

She explained that due to his love for cars, she and her husband started pointing out cars on the road to teach him their names.

“Sometimes, I would then test him, and his answers would surprise me. It’d be the name of a car I mentioned once a long time ago, and he would still remember.

“I do often wonder what’s installed inside the head of a two-year-old,” she joked, highlighting that he’s a quick learner with a good memory.

The video has garnered over 55,000 likes and comments, with netizens praising Hans for his impressive skills and joking about it.
