However, the Al Jazeera news portal mistakenly identified Ceddy as a Filipino in the caption, when he is actually from Malaysia.

The retaliatory attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on October 7 last year killed tens of thousands in Palestine, including children, women, and the elderly.

The situation worsened when the IDF attacked Rafah, the only area considered safe for residents.

This inhumane act has been condemned not only by Malaysians but also by leaders and communities worldwide.

Ceddy’s Video on Palestine Gains Al Jazeera’s Attention

In a video posted on X (@ajmubasher), Al Jazeera, the international news portal, featured a video by Malaysian influencer CeddyOrNot explaining the situation in Palestine.

In the video, Ceddy summarizes the atrocities happening in Palestine and why global awareness is crucial.

However, Al Jazeera mistakenly identified him as a Filipino in the caption, whereas he is a Malaysian. Ceddy clarified this in the comments section of the post.

Malaysians Proud of Ceddy’s Achievement

Many Malaysians expressed their pride in Ceddy’s achievement after his video explaining the Palestinian situation went viral globally.

Hopefully, more celebrities will use their social media platforms to raise awareness about the ongoing issues in Palestine, especially in Rafah, previously touted as a Safe Zone.

Proud of you, Ceddy! May this inspire many others out there.
