Ebit Lew’s TikTok Account With 6.7 Million Followers Banned — What Happened?

Celebrity preacher Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew recently faced a major setback when his TikTok account with 6.7 million followers was banned. The preacher, known for his social media presence, took to Facebook to express his disappointment over the unexpected ban.

“My TikTok with 6.7 million followers has been banned. It disappeared immediately, I can’t see it anymore. Follow my new account,” he wrote in a caption attached to a now-deleted video.

However, both his original account, @ustazebitlew, and his newly created account, @ebitlewlive, are currently unavailable on TikTok, leaving many followers questioning the sudden disappearance.

Facing Legal Battles

Adding to the controversy, Ebit Lew is currently facing 11 charges of sexual harassment. Among these, one charge accuses him of outraging the modesty of a woman in her 40s by sending obscene messages via WhatsApp between March and June 2021.

In response to these accusations, Lew previously stated in February 2022 that the charges were “a test from God.” The case remains ongoing at the Tenom Magistrate’s Court.

Unanswered Questions

While some speculate that the TikTok ban may be linked to his ongoing legal issues, no official explanation has been provided by the platform. Followers remain divided — some supporting the preacher while others call for clarity regarding the allegations.
