Teen Impersonates Medical Staff at Perlis Hospital Using Uniform Bought Online

In an unusual and alarming incident, a teenage boy has gone viral after he was caught impersonating a medical assistant at a hospital in Kangar, Perlis.

Wearing a full green clinical uniform resembling that of actual medical staff, the boy was confronted by real healthcare workers after he was spotted within the hospital premises.

Bought Everything Online – From Uniform to Stethoscope

A video circulating on TikTok shows the teen casually explaining that he had purchased the outfit — complete with a name tag and medical equipment like a stethoscope — from a popular online shopping platform.

In the footage, he calmly tells hospital staff that he did all this because he wanted to “help treat patients.”

It’s unclear how long the impersonation lasted or whether he had attempted to interact with any patients, but his actions quickly sparked concern over hospital security and the ease of accessing medical uniforms online.

Police: No Report Has Been Lodged (Yet)

Kangar District Police Chief ACP Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop confirmed that while police are aware of the incident, no official report has been filed as of now.

The situation has raised public concern regarding how easily individuals can purchase medical uniforms and impersonate healthcare workers — potentially putting lives at risk.

Public Concern Over Security and Ethics

The incident has left many netizens both amused and worried. While some joked about the teen’s boldness, others questioned why no one noticed his presence sooner and what could have happened if he had managed to interact with vulnerable patients.

Authorities have yet to confirm if further investigations will take place or if action will be taken by hospital administrators or the Ministry of Health.
