Malaysian Man’s Pokémon Collection Worth RM4.44 Million Sparks Attention Online
Malaysian Collector Returns With An Even Bigger Deal

If people once thought collecting Pokémon cards was just a childhood hobby, this latest story may change their minds completely. Last year, Penang-based Pokémon card collector Damiral Imran drew massive attention after successfully selling his personal collection for RM1.87 million in less than 10 days. Now, he is making headlines again after revealing that he wants to sell part of his latest Pokémon collection for RM4,444,444. According to him, the collection is actually estimated to be worth between RM4.68 million and RM4.75 million, and discussions are only open to serious buyers.
Buyer Can Trade A Mercedes-AMG GTS
What caught even more attention online was the alternative deal being offered by Damiral. Instead of paying fully in cash, interested buyers can also trade with a Mercedes-AMG GT S together with around RM3.8 million in additional cash. While it may sound like the kind of negotiation normally associated with luxury properties or exotic cars, this deal revolves entirely around Pokémon cards. This is also not the first time Damiral has proposed a high-value trade involving collectibles. Last year, his previous collection was reportedly offered in exchange for a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S along with RM1 million. He is also offering an RM80,000 commission to anyone who successfully connects him with a serious buyer.
Pokémon Cards Now Seen As Luxury Investments
The Pokémon card market has evolved far beyond a simple hobby, with rare collectibles now being viewed as valuable investment assets worldwide. Globally, some rare Pokémon cards have reached unbelievable prices, including the famous Pokémon Illustrator card owned by Logan Paul, which was reportedly sold for around US$16.5 million during an auction. The growing value of collectibles has placed them in the same conversation as luxury watches and high-performance cars. What makes Damiral’s story stand out even more is that everything began from personal interest and passion. From collecting cards as a hobby, it has now turned into multi-million-ringgit transactions that continue to surprise many people online.
