Renowned international DJ and producer, Alan Walker, recently gave his fans in Malaysia a special opportunity to connect with him ahead of his upcoming Walkerworld show in Kuala Lumpur.
Taking to social media, Walker shared his Malaysian, Indonesian, and Singaporean phone numbers, inviting fans to text him directly. The response was immense, with over 15,000 messages flooding in.
“Walkers! I’ve set up local numbers so you can WhatsApp me – let me know if you are coming to my shows in June!” the DJ wrote on his official Facebook page, alongside a photo of himself sporting his signature black hoodie and face mask.
Known for smash hits like Faded and Alone, Walker is scheduled to perform at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon on 22 June. His decision to share his phone number was aimed at building excitement leading up to the show.
The Facebook post alone garnered over 700 comments and almost 2,000 shares, with fans from all corners of the globe expressing their love and support, and even requesting Walker to perform in their hometowns.
Walker later updated his fans, revealing that he had received over 15,000 WhatsApp messages, though he didn’t specify from which country. His phone number will remain active until the Walkerworld Kuala Lumpur show, and fans are encouraged to send WhatsApp messages. Some lucky fans might even receive replies from the man himself!
