Apple Officially Raises Prices Of Selected Products In Malaysia
Apple Updates Official Pricing In Malaysia

Apple has officially increased the prices of several products in Malaysia, affecting consumers planning to purchase or upgrade their devices. The revised pricing appeared on Apple’s official Malaysian store, with selected MacBook and iPad models now carrying higher retail prices. The update comes just a week after Apple CEO Tim Cook acknowledged concerns over rising production costs.
MacBook And iPad Models Among Those Affected

Among the products affected by the latest price adjustment are the MacBook Neo, MacBook Air M5, MacBook Pro M5, Mac Mini, iPad Pro M5 and iPad Air. The revised pricing applies to these selected devices, making them more expensive for Malaysian consumers compared to their previous retail prices. Apple has not issued a separate public announcement specifically regarding the Malaysian price revision.
Rising Component Costs Cited As Main Reason
Although Apple has not released an official statement explaining the local price adjustments, CEO Tim Cook previously told The Wall Street Journal that rising memory and storage component costs have significantly increased production expenses. He explained that growing global demand for semiconductor chips has intensified competition among consumer electronics manufacturers, resulting in higher component prices. As supply remains constrained, companies such as Apple continue facing increased manufacturing costs that may ultimately be reflected in retail pricing.
