Aslam Lashes Out After Being Provoked During Tudung Livestream
Social media personality Ahmad Aslam recently expressed his frustration after being provoked by netizens while conducting a tudung-selling livestream with his wife, Umisya Mazlan.

The situation escalated when viewers began flooding the comment section with sympathy for Aslam’s second wife, Marissa Dania. Many insinuated that Marissa was being sidelined, despite Aslam’s visible efforts to support Umisya in her business.
“Sympathy for what? I don’t get it. I provide food and shelter,” Aslam said during the livestream, visibly irritated.
He added that netizens should be more thoughtful before casting assumptions about his personal life, especially since both of his wives live in a shared polygamous arrangement.
Umisya Tells Netizens to Show Sympathy to the Right Person
Umisya herself also stepped in during the live session, defending her husband and setting the record straight.
“You (netizens) should feel sympathy for the right person. If you want to feel sorry for someone, do it with reason. Look at the full picture. Don’t pity the wrong one,” she said firmly.
She questioned why viewers were quick to sympathize with just one party, when in reality, both women are in the same situation — living in a polygamous marriage.
“So who exactly do you want to pity? Because both of us are in this together,” she added.
Backlash Reflects Misunderstanding of Polygamous Dynamics
The incident has once again sparked conversation online about the realities of polygamous marriages. Despite repeated attempts by Aslam and his wives to clarify their domestic arrangements, public sentiment often leans towards emotional assumptions rather than understanding.
This backlash highlights how personal lives are often judged unfairly on social media, especially when content is taken out of context or twisted by emotional biases.
