Cashless Payment System Introduced at Public Toilet in Solaris Mont Kiara

A public toilet in Solaris Mont Kiara has implemented a cashless payment system, allowing visitors to pay using debit or credit cards or by scanning a QR code.
Convenient Payment, RM1.20 Per Entry
With cashless transactions becoming increasingly common—whether for parking, vending machines, or even roadside stalls—it is no surprise that public restrooms are also adopting the trend. A visitor, Joni Lynne, noticed the upgrade and shared that the entry fee is RM1.20. Unlike traditional coin-operated public toilets, users can now tap their card or scan a QR code to gain access.
Visitor Feedback on Facilities
Despite the modernized payment system, the restroom itself remains simple. Another visitor, Kathleen, described the facility as basic, with one or two cubicles and a sink next to the toilet bowls. While some may appreciate the convenience of cashless payments, others may question whether the facilities justify the price.
