Mat Rempits are back at it again, and this time, they’ve turned the Puchong Toll into a scene straight out of an action movie! After causing a stir in Penang by riding against traffic to dodge the cops, these thrill-seekers are now wreaking havoc closer to home.
A TikTok user, @brenko3600, shared jaw-dropping videos of a massive group of Mat Rempits pulling off yet another wild escape, this time near the Puchong Toll. It was like a swarm of bees, but way louder and way more chaotic.
In the clips, these daredevils can be seen speeding away from the toll, trying to lose the cops by taking a sneaky exit to a smaller road. But, surprise! The police were ready and blocked their way, forcing the Rempits to change course. Instead of giving up, they pulled a risky U-turn and started riding against traffic, sending other road users into a panic.
At one point, a bunch of them even stopped right in the middle of the highway, huddling together like it was a strategy meeting, trying to figure out how to outsmart the cops who had them cornered.
While we can’t help but admire their audacity, we’re also hoping the police managed to nab a good number of them. It’s high time we put an end to this reckless Mat Rempit culture that’s turning our roads into a dangerous playground.
