Foreign Man Causes Chaos on 10th-Floor Ledge of KL Flat, Allegedly Under Drug Influence

A foreign man was captured on CCTV causing chaos on the 10th-floor ledge of a flat at the Sri Perak residence in Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday, March 17. Authorities suspect that the man’s erratic behavior was due to drug influence. According to a report by Kosmo, Sentul District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd. Zahari stated that his department received a report of the disturbance around 5:12 pm. Investigations later revealed that a 27-year-old man from India, seen outside the window of a flat unit while in a state of rampage, was believed to be under the influence of drugs. The man not only threatened to jump from the building but also was observed breaking the windows of the unit. Fortunately, quick action by the police led to his safe rescue. The video footage shows the shirtless man standing precariously on the ledge, actively smashing the glass panes, which resulted in shards of glass falling to the ground below. The video, which also shows details like the suspect’s getaway vehicle’s license plate, is circulating widely online, inviting public discussion and requests for further information.
