Local rapper Sharifah Zamaera Syed Zafelin Al Edros, better known as Zamaera, recently accused an officer from the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) of secretly recording her during a massage session at Chiang Thai massage parlour in SS14, Subang Jaya.
On 5 December, Zamaera shared the disturbing incident on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), explaining that it took place around 5:30pm. She had visited the massage parlour to try out their services, where she described the masseuses as being very kind to her.
However, things took a turn when, after about 15 minutes into her massage, Zamaera overheard male voices speaking in Malay. She initially ignored them, trying to enjoy the relaxation she was seeking, but the noise soon became unbearable.
It was then that Zamaera claimed one of the officers secretly recorded her while she was unclothed. Upon confronting the officers, she was told that recording was part of MBSJ’s standard operating procedures. However, she raised an important question: why wasn’t there a female officer present to handle the situation involving a woman?
She continued to share her account in an Instagram video, adding more details about the encounter. Zamaera explained that she overheard the officers asking “Guy or girl?” outside her room, which was separated by a curtain. After noticing light leaking into her room, she turned around and saw a man holding a phone camera aimed directly at her exposed body.
Once dressed, Zamaera confronted the officers, demanding to know who had filmed her. Although the officers recorded videos of the premises, no footage of her was found. As of now, the Subang Jaya City Council has not issued a statement regarding the allegation.
