In a jaw-dropping operation, police raided a recently opened nightclub on Jalan Loke Yew, where a staggering 136 foreign women were apprehended, suspected of working as guest relations officers (GROs). This nightclub, which had only been in operation for two months, has now raised eyebrows across the nation.
The raid, carried out under Ops Gegar at around 11:45 PM, revealed shocking revelations as media spotted garlands and sashes displaying tip amounts ranging from RM100 to an outrageous RM100,000! It begs the question: How did this establishment fly under the radar for so long?

Kuala Lumpur’s Immigration Director-General, Wan Mohammed Saupee Wan Yusoff, indicated that this investigation had been ongoing for two weeks. “This club has just opened, but it’s clear they were up to no good from the start,” he stated. “Several rooms are still under construction, likely for KTV (karaoke) purposes.”
Among those detained, some were using Spouse Passes but couldn’t explain the whereabouts of their supposed husbands when questioned. A total of 350 individuals, including visitors and local workers, were interrogated during the raid, leaving many wondering about the extent of this operation.
The detainees included a mix of nationalities: one male and 113 Thai women, 12 Vietnamese women, one Laotian woman, one Filipino woman, and 27 Bangladeshi men. But that’s not all—five locals, including employers and supervisors, were also caught in the crossfire.
