The situation recently went viral after a video circulating on Threads showed a resident confronting the group, who were reportedly making loud noises between 2AM and 3AM. For many living in the area, the disturbance was more than just an inconvenience, especially during the Ramadan period when many families wake up early for sahur.

In the video, the resident could be heard telling the group to stop their behaviour and move elsewhere. “You shouldn’t be doing this here. Go somewhere else. Don’t you realise people’s children are trying to sleep? Some of us have to work tomorrow and wake up early for sahur,” he said. The man also urged them to use some common sense, pointing out that the neighbourhood is a densely populated residential area where such behaviour is highly disruptive. Many viewers online praised the resident for speaking up instead of staying silent.
Noise From Cars And Firecrackers Angers Residents
According to several comments from local residents, the issue is not just about fireworks. The same group was also reportedly revving their car engines loudly, creating even more noise pollution in the middle of the night.
