“It’s Been Real Tough for Us” – Kate Middleton Opens Up About Cancer Diagnosis

For the past few weeks, folks have been wondering, “Where’s Kate Middleton?” and Kensington Palace has been as silent as a mouse, except for a photoshopped snap released on UK’s Mother’s Day.
The Duchess herself dropped a bombshell in a 2-minute video on X (you know, formerly known as Twitter), addressing her absence amid all the gossip.
She spilled the beans that she went through a major tummy surgery back in January, which went A-okay. But, bam! Tests post-op showed cancer was lurking in her bod.
So, the Duchess got the word to start on some preventative chemo, and she’s just getting into it. Since cancer barged in like an unwelcome guest, Kate says they’re dealing with it as a family, behind closed doors.
“It’s been a journey to bounce back from the surgery and prep for treatment, but most importantly, to break it down for George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way they can wrap their heads around…”
She adds, “Like I told them, I’m hanging in there and getting stronger by the day, focusing on what keeps my mind, body, and soul in good shape.”
Kate Middleton gave props to the public for their love and support and made it clear she needs some space and time to tackle this head-on.
“We hope y’all get where we’re coming from, needing a breather and some privacy as I kick off my treatment.”
Signing off, she sent her love and support to those battling cancer, saying, “To all facing this beast, in any shape or form, don’t lose hope. You’re not alone.”
