‘KFC Never Included in Boycott List’ – BDS Malaysia

Several fast-food chains have been blacklisted and boycotted by individuals as a show of solidarity with the people in Gaza. However, some people still mistakenly accuse KFC of contributing funds to Israel.

Recently, the Chairman of the Pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) Malaysia branch stated that KFC has never been included in the BDS Malaysia boycott list.

He emphasized that they have never campaigned for Malaysians to boycott KFC, not in the past and not now.

“For your information, KFC has never been included in the BDS Malaysia boycott list. We have never campaigned for Malaysians to boycott KFC from the beginning until now,” he shared on Instagram.

He added that McDonald’s was not initially on the list either but had to be included when its branches in Israel provided free meals to Zionist soldiers.

Following that, the whole world was angered at McDonald’s for this action, which was not blocked by the McDonald’s Corporation.

He also expressed relief that KFC has never done anything similar and therefore does not need to be included in the boycott list.

Nazari mentioned that customers now only complain about and avoid KFC due to its high prices, not because of the Palestinian issue.
