The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has shared important information for those attending Coldplay’s concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on November 22. 

In a statement, Cheras police chief ACP Zam Halim Jamaluddin mentioned that the stadium is expected to host 75,000 spectators, opening its doors at 6 pm. The police have made thorough preparations, including traffic management units, to ensure smooth traffic flow around the venue. 

The British rock band is set to perform at 8 pm, and police will conduct body and bag checks at each entrance for the safety of concertgoers. 

Here is a list of items not allowed at the stadium: 

  • Firecrackers/flares 
  • Helmets 
  • Lasers/laser pens 
  • Sharp objects (iron or wood) 
  • Weapons (machetes and other dangerous items) 
  • Alcoholic drinks 
  • Umbrellas/walking sticks 
  • Power banks 
  • Bottled water 
  • Lighters/matches 
  • Cigarettes/electronic cigarettes (vapes) 
  • Drones 
  • Megaphones 

To avoid traffic congestion, the police recommend the following: 

  • Use public transport to reach Bukit Jalil National Stadium 
  • Avoid using roads around the stadium if not attending the concert 
  • Obey instructions from on-duty police 
  • Be patient, cautious, and tolerant while driving around the stadium 
  • Do not park on the road shoulders around the entrance and exit; vehicles obstructing traffic will be towed and fined 
  • Note that only the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT KL) has authority over traffic movement around the stadium 

Zam Halim emphasized maintaining decorum, avoiding provocation, and preventing disturbances during or after the concert. Strict action will be taken against any violations of the law.
