Popular Biang Biang Noodles Bows Out — Owner Admits Costly Mistakes Led to Closure

Fans of Biang Biang Noodle Bar were left heartbroken as the popular eatery announced the closure of its final outlet in REXKL, set to cease operations on 31 March. Known for its hand-pulled, belt-like noodles and bold flavours, the brand had built a loyal following since its debut in SS2 back in 2023.

In a candid social media post, the owners openly admitted to a series of missteps that ultimately led to their downfall. They confessed to facing two major struggles common in the F&B industry — lack of experience and choosing the wrong partner. They acknowledged issues such as poor waste management, inconsistent food quality, and weak customer service, further admitting that a key business partner abandoned the venture midway.

“We were young, wild, and free — now we learn and grow. We are sorry to disappoint those who supported us from the beginning,” the statement read, reflecting both regret and gratitude.

Biang Biang Noodles had initially opened in SS2 before expanding to REXKL, where they later rebranded as Mee Biang Biang. Unfortunately, both outlets have now shut down, marking the end of their culinary journey.

Following the announcement, heartbroken fans flooded social media with supportive messages, expressing their sadness and fond memories of the beloved noodle bar. While the closure marks the end of an era for Biang Biang Noodles, their honest reflection on mistakes made has earned them respect from both loyal customers and the wider F&B community.
