Shila Amzah recently dropped a bombshell on Instagram, claiming she was openly confronted by a veteran artist during a rehearsal at Stadium Merdeka—just hours before her scheduled performance.
The singer, whose real name is Nurshahila Amir Amzah, didn’t hold back in her Instagram Story. She said the incident was upsetting and left her emotionally shaken, especially because it happened so publicly.
“Right before I was confronted by someone who used to be regarded as a legend… but not anymore, at least not on my list,” Shila wrote, hinting at the artist’s identity without revealing names.
According to Shila, the confrontation didn’t happen in private. It was witnessed by multiple staff members at the venue. She said she was thankful for the artist’s age, but not the approach.
“I’m grateful that you’re an elderly figure, but to act that way in front of everyone… it’s honestly shocking. It disrupted my sense of safety,” she added.
Management Calls It “Unprofessional Behaviour”
Shila’s manager, Aini Shuhaidah, also took to Instagram to share her thoughts—calling the veteran’s actions completely out of line.
“Disappointed. That’s the only word I have for this behaviour. How could someone who has so much experience act so unprofessionally in front of everyone?” she posted.
Aini confirmed that legal actions are already being taken. This includes a police report and an application for a restraining order.

So far, neither Shila nor her management has named the veteran artist involved. However, the statement has stirred curiosity across the entertainment world, with fans flooding the comments section trying to guess the identity of the so-called “legend.”
When contacted by Harian Metro, Aini declined to comment further and requested privacy until things calm down. Shila is expected to take the stage at Stadium Merdeka as scheduled.
