Three Police Officers Under Investigation Over ‘Mysterious’ Roadblock in Serdang
Three police officers are now facing an internal investigation after being caught on video conducting a roadblock that has puzzled netizens. The incident took place near The Mines intersection in Serdang today.
The Serdang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner AA Anbalagan, confirmed that the authorities were aware of the 1-minute 19-second video that went viral on social media. The footage shows three traffic police officers carrying out the roadblock between 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM.
“We are investigating whether there were any violations or misconduct in the execution of the roadblock,” he said.
According to Anbalagan, the police will not compromise if any procedural violations are found in the operation.
“This case is still under investigation, and the public is advised not to make any speculations or comments that could interfere with the investigation,” he added.

The video of the roadblock has garnered attention from netizens who questioned the actions of the officers involved. Some claimed that the roadblock seemed suspicious due to its sudden execution without any clear warning signs.
Netizens have also demanded an explanation from the authorities, especially since the incident occurred in a busy area, causing discomfort among road users.
