Zeekr 9X Opens For Booking In Malaysia With Estimated Starting Price Of RM800,000

Zeekr Malaysia Opens Order Books For Its Most Premium SUV Yet

Zeekr Malaysia has officially previewed the all-new Zeekr 9X at this year’s Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS), giving Malaysians an early look at the brand’s upcoming flagship SUV before its expected launch in late 2026 or early 2027. Alongside the public debut, the company has also begun accepting bookings, with estimated pricing starting from RM800,000. If that figure remains unchanged at launch, the 9X will become the most expensive model ever offered by Zeekr in the local market. With dimensions measuring 5,239 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, 1,819 mm in height and a wheelbase of 3,169 mm, the SUV boasts an imposing road presence that has even earned comparisons to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Luxury Cabin Meets Supercar Performance

Inside, the three-row cabin is packed with premium appointments including Nappa leather upholstery, a suede headliner, Nordic natural wood veneer trim and a crystal media control knob. Buyers can also expect ambient lighting, powered seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, a 13-inch digital instrument cluster, dual 16-inch 3.5K OLED displays for the driver and front passenger, a built-in refrigerator, a 32-speaker sound system and a 17-inch ceiling-mounted rear display. Underneath, the 9X rides on the SEA-S platform with a 900-volt electrical architecture and uses Geely Group’s SEA Super Hybrid plug-in hybrid system. The most powerful version combines a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with three electric motors and a 70-kWh battery to produce a staggering 1,400 PS and 1,410 Nm of torque, while the model previewed at KLIMS features a dual-motor setup generating 897 PS and 935 Nm.

Impressive Range, Fast Charging And Advanced Technology

Performance figures are equally remarkable, with the highest-output variant capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 240 km/h. Depending on the configuration, the Zeekr 9X offers between 235 km and 302 km of electric-only driving range under the WLTP standard, while total hybrid range stretches from 982 km to 1,015 km. Thanks to its 900-volt architecture, DC fast charging from 20% to 80% can be completed in only nine minutes. The SUV also comes equipped with dual-chamber air suspension, continuous damping technology, optional 48-volt active roll stabilisation and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems powered by multiple sensors, including a roof-mounted LiDAR. Although the left-hand-drive example displayed at KLIMS differs from the final Malaysian specification, the Zeekr 9X is already shaping up to be one of the country’s most technologically advanced and luxurious SUVs when it officially arrives.
