Aeril Zafrel and Wawa Zainal recently fulfilled their business zakat obligations by contributing over RM1 million to the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS). Grateful for the continuous blessings from Allah SWT, the couple expressed their gratitude for the prosperity they’ve experienced.
Aeril, aged 35, stated that the zakat amount was a result of their business profits for the year. With heartfelt gratitude, he said, “Alhamdulillah, this is a duty that must be fulfilled. We are thankful for the continuous blessings from Allah SWT.”
He also acknowledged the unwavering support from all sides and their loyal customers. Aeril hopes that 2024 and the future will bring even better times. Expressing his hopes, he said, “May the zakat we contribute somehow help those in need.”
Aeril believes that giving zakat is a good starting point and can serve as an inspiration for others to give back. He is confident, stating, “In our blessings, Insha-Allah, there is also blessings for others. May this assistance be beneficial to those who require it. I am confident that LZS is the best agency to handle this matter.”
Furthermore, Aeril shared his hope that their efforts could inspire and motivate others to engage in charitable acts. He explained, “Believe me, those who give in the way of Allah will not become poor.”
Previously, in 2022, this celebrity couple fulfilled zakat exceeding RM50,000 and received recognition from LZS. They also posted a video on Instagram announcing their zakat fulfillment, conveying gratitude, and expressing hope that their contribution would be beneficial to the community in need.
