âAnyone who waves their hand will receive RM100. If you do not wave, you will not get anything,â he said while holding a visible stack of notes.
Identified as Datuk Salim, Accompanied by Hulu Langat MP
Sinar Harian later confirmed that the man was Datuk Salim Abdul Rahman, who visited the beach together with Hulu Langat Member of Parliament Mohd Sany Hamzan.
Crowds quickly gathered and lined up for their chance to wave and collect the RM100 note, creating a lively and cheerful scene.
Mohd Sany was also heard reminding people not to claim the money more than once so that everyone would have a fair chance.
