A 60-year-old AirAsia cabin crew member’s youthful appearance has taken the internet by storm following his recent retirement from the airline.

In a video shared on TikTok, the airline revealed that flight attendant Nordin Razali, who turned 60 this year, has been serving as a cabin crew member for 35 years and was one of the airline’s first crew members.

The heartwarming video captures the airline staff surprising Nordin with a retirement party. Despite his age, Nordin looks remarkably youthful, not a day over 40. The video also features a voiceover of Nordin sharing his farewell message during his final flight to Kuching.

“Today marks a special day for me; it marks my final flight after so many wonderful years of flying. It’s been 35 years, and I’ve loved every moment I’ve spent in the skies,” said Nordin in his last announcement.

“The last 35 years have been truly magical. It’s been an honour and joy to serve as your crew in charge,” he added, expressing gratitude to everyone who made his career so fulfilling.

As a testament to his long service, even AirAsia’s founder and CEO, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, acknowledged Nordin on social media.

“Nordin Razali, the first crew who is still flying at 60. He looks so young! Congrats to you and thank you for all your hard work,” Fernandes wrote on Instagram.

As a token of appreciation, Fernandes also gifted Nordin two tickets to Jeddah for his retirement.

Meanwhile, on TikTok, while many wished Nordin a happy retirement, others couldn’t help but marvel at his youthful appearance.
