Malaysian Woman Forgets iPad Overnight in Japan, Finds It Exactly Where She Left It

A Malaysian woman was left shocked after discovering that her iPad, which she had forgotten at a restaurant in Japan, was still in the exact same spot the next day—completely untouched. Sharing her experience on TikTok, Intan revealed that she almost cried when she realised she had left her device behind after returning to her hotel that night. It was already 10.30pm, and the restaurant was closed. She couldn’t even call them to check.
With no choice but to wait until morning, Intan spent the night anxiously worrying about her lost iPad. When she returned to the store the next day, her heart pounded as she approached the entrance. To her amazement, her iPad was still there, placed on a signboard outside the halal ramen restaurant—exactly where she had left it.
Intan admitted that she didn’t even remember placing the iPad on the signboard, initially thinking she had left it inside the restaurant. What made the situation even more unbelievable was that the iPad was not password-protected and had been sitting there for over 12 hours—completely untouched. Overjoyed, she praised the honesty of Japanese people, saying, “This is the power of Japan, where people don’t take others’ belongings.”
