The murder of the wife in Makassar was exposed after 6 years, the child was asked to lie. The victim was killed and buried with cement by her own husband, H (43) six years ago. The tightly kept secret was revealed after VI (17), the eldest child of the perpetrator and the victim, reported his father to the police and revealed the murder case.

The discovery of a human skeleton in a house uncovered a dark secret kept by a family for six years.

Investigations found that the skeleton belonged to a woman, JU alias U, 35, who lived in Desa Bontoala Tua, Daerah Bontoala, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

International media reported that the woman was killed by her own husband before being buried and cemented in their house six years ago.

The secret was uncovered after the eldest child of the victim, known as VI, reported his father’s actions to the police.

According to the 17-year-old youth, the terrifying incident occurred in 2018 when he was still in primary school.

In VI’s memory, his mother was abused by his father himself, causing injuries to her face.

“At that time I was still in primary school. After returning from school, I saw my mother lying on the floor, I hardly recognized her because her face was swollen,” he said in front of investigators at the Makassar Police Headquarters on Saturday.

He further narrated that two days later, he saw his mother still lying in the same place and unconscious.

Shortly after, VI said, he saw his father bringing sand and cement into the house.

“Dad said if anyone asked about the cement, I had to say it was used to make a fish pond,” he said.

He confessed further that he and a five-year-old brother were asked by their father to lie if anyone asked about their mother’s whereabouts.

They had to tell others that their mother had gone somewhere else.

After the report was received, authorities finally arrested the suspect on Sunday.

The 43-year-old suspect who admitted to his heinous act said he attacked his wife using a piece of wood.

After the victim passed away, her body was buried in the house, right behind the toilet.

“I then covered it with sand and cement,” he explained.

The suspect said he killed the woman out of jealousy upon seeing her meeting her ex-boyfriend.

“I suspected she met her ex-boyfriend in Lorong 1, I asked but she wouldn’t admit it,” he said.

Angry at his wife’s actions, the suspect decided to hit the victim on the head with a piece of wood until she died.
