Melaka’s head honcho, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, just dropped a bomb on Facebook: introducing cycling paramedics, or as we like to call them, our new superheroes! These folks are like your regular paramedics, but they pedal their way to the rescue, especially in tourist hotspots where emergencies can pop up.
“So, what’s the deal with these community paramedics?” Ab Rauf Yusoh explained in his video. Picture this: a bunch of trained paramedics zooming around on bikes, equipped with medical gear, ready to swoop in and save the day. They even pack an automated external defibrillator (AED) for those heart-stopping moments!
“These guys come fully loaded with all the gear to tackle emergencies on the spot,” he said, sounding pretty stoked about the whole thing.
