In a recent interview with Mythical Kitchen, Mike Shinoda, co-vocalist of Linkin Park, shared an unexpectedly funny story from one of their trips to Malaysia.

It all began when a fan approached Mike at one of their concerts, asking for an autograph. Mike assumed it would be a typical request for a signed poster or T-shirt. But to everyone’s surprise, the fan handed him a baby and asked Mike to sign it!

“They gave me a Sharpie and then lifted the baby,” Mike recounted with laughter. Even more surprisingly, the fan pointed to the baby’s forehead and said, “Sign here!”

Although hesitant, Mike complied with the unusual request. He jokingly admitted he was “60% sure” he really signed the baby’s forehead.

When asked if he ever reconnected with the baby, Mike chuckled and said he hoped that one day the baby would show up and say, “That’s me! I’m the baby whose forehead you signed!”

Fans quickly speculated that Linkin Park’s last concert in Malaysia was in 2006, which would make the baby around 18 years old now. However, a quick check revealed that the band actually performed in Malaysia twice, in 2003 and 2013.

Fans couldn’t resist joking that Mike should return to Malaysia to sign their babies next!
