This Sabah Animal Rescue Might Close Down, Here’s How You Can Help!

People who run animal shelters and rescue stray animals are very noble. But, they often get the least help from the public.
An animal shelter in Tuaran, Sabah, is now at risk of closing down. They are struggling to find enough money to keep the shelter open and take care of the animals.
Animal Lovers Independent Rescuer – ALIR recently posted on their Facebook page asking for help from the public. They said they can’t take in any more animals because they don’t have enough supplies.
They wrote, “We’re sorry to say we can’t accept any new animals right now. We don’t have enough money to buy food for our rescue dogs and cats. We don’t even have money to pay our staff.”
“We haven’t been able to collect enough funds for our previous cases. There are still many cases that haven’t been updated. We might not be able to continue our mission and might need to shut down soon. Sorry to trouble you all.”
To stay open and keep rescuing animals, they need help!
ALIR shared a list of items that people can donate:
