This incident has raised concerns about the rise of vaping in schools and its potential effects on student safety.
‘Magic Mushroom’ Vape Trend Spreading Among Malaysian Students
The ‘magic mushroom’ vape, a popular choice among youths, is now a trending issue in Malaysian schools. These vapes, flavored to mimic mushrooms or cannabis, contain active substances like psilocybin, which can cause severe mental delirium and erratic behavior.
Many teenagers use these vapes due to peer pressure, and the cost is reportedly around RM1 per puff. This trend is becoming increasingly common, highlighting the urgent need for regulatory measures from the Ministry of Health to address the risks involved.
